The Brief

Students should use geometries and field conditions from previous work to create new moments and spatial qualities. The relationship
between the 2D pattern and the final
3D volumetric form, is the focus. Strategic omissions of panels, perforations,
punctures, or apertures should access the interior. Scale figures
will be used to investigate the inhabitation of
their “Pattern” system.
